My name is James, and I am a student photographer passionate about capturing the world around me. I have been taking photos since 2022, and it has quickly become an integral part of my life, inspiring me to pursue a career in this field. While I primarily focus on wildlife photography, I have recently begun to explore portraits and other styles as well. This course has enabled me to incorporate photography into my daily routine, transforming it from a mere hobby into a central aspect of my life. I initially enrolled in level 2 media production before transitioning to level 3 photography & film a few months later. This website showcases all the work I have completed during my college journey, and I invite you to take your time to explore it.

Project 2 – Review

The video

I think I had a good idea for what I was going to do for the video and I had everything planned out but overall the outcome was poor. The shots were last minute and rushed and I know that I can do better. Next time I will give more time into the video and improve the quality.

The sound

I think the sound design was decent but I think some of the music didn’t make sense and next time I will try using diffrent types of music and sound effects because sound is crucial to the video.

The editing

I think the editing was good. I used diffrent techniques like revealing text, color design and rapid cuts. The editing was probably my best part of the video and I think it made a bad start into a decent video.

My Strengths

I believe my planning and my editing was my strenghts of the video as each shots was planned with time, type, length and the editing was good with color design and creating a decent awareness video.

My Weak points

I think the sound and video were the parts of the video that let it down. The sound design felt rushed and random the music didnt make sense and the audio just wasnt good enough. The video was poor with shots that didnt tell a story and again felt rushed and random.
